How do credits work?
SGfoto uses one-time credit packs — there is no subscription, and credits never expire. One paid credit lets you generate from a single photo and re-roll that same photo up to 10 times until you’re happy. Switching to a different photo uses another credit. New accounts and completing the in-app survey each grant one free generation.
My photo didn’t generate / the app showed an error.
If a generation fails, your credit is automatically returned — you won’t be charged for a failed photo. Check your internet connection and try again. If it keeps happening, email us with a screenshot.
Will my photo be accepted by the authority?
SGfoto builds each photo to match published ID/passport/visa specifications, but acceptance is always at the discretion of the issuing authority. Please review each photo before you submit it.
How is my photo handled? Is it private?
Your photos are stored only on your own device. During generation, the selected photo is sent securely to the AI service and our compositing server to create your result, and is not stored on any server we operate. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. This permanently erases your server-side record (credit balance and history mapping). Photos saved on your device can be removed from the History tab, or by deleting the app.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by us — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I restore a purchase I already paid for?
Open the store screen in the app and tap Restore purchases. If credits still don’t appear, email us and we’ll sort it out.
