Frequently asked questions

How does it work?

Pick the document you need, sign in, and upload a selfie. In about a minute you get a free preview with a watermark. If you like it, pay SGD 1.99 to download the full-resolution file without the watermark.

Why do I have to sign in?

So your photos and purchases follow your account if you switch phone or browser, so the A4 print sheet can find the photos you bought, and so the free daily previews are counted per person rather than per network. We store only an anonymous identifier from Google or Apple — not your name or email.

Will my photo be accepted by the authority?

We format your photo to each document’s published specifications — size, background, head position. But acceptance is always decided by the issuing authority, and we cannot guarantee it. We are an independent service and are not affiliated with any government or embassy.

Is the face in the result really me?

Yes. The AI step only produces a clean background and formal attire; your own face from the photo you uploaded is then placed onto it unaltered. We also show an “AI face” version for interest — that one is repainted by AI and is not suitable for a document application.

I need the same photo in a different size

Open the photo and choose Another document · same photo. We re-crop the same generation to the new document’s specification in about 15 seconds — no need to upload again. It costs SGD 1.99 like any other photo.

How do I print them myself?

On the home screen, under Recent photos, tap A4 print sheet. Tick the photos you have bought, set how many copies of each, and we generate one A4 image at 300 DPI with cutting guides. Print it at any photo shop or on a home printer at 100% scale (not “fit to page”), then cut along the lines. There is also a 4R sheet option on the result screen.

My photo failed or looked wrong

The most common causes are a face that is not facing the camera, uneven lighting, glasses reflecting, or hair covering the eyebrows. Try a sharper, evenly lit photo taken straight on. If generation fails because of a fault on our side, it does not use up your free allowance and you are not charged.

What if the photo isn’t right?

If you don’t have a usable photo yet (generation failed, download broken, file won’t open): we keep redoing it free until you have a working photo — you are never charged again for that.

If you have the photo but it isn’t right: tell us what’s wrong and we redo it free, with advice on taking a better source photo. If it still can’t be made right, we refund 50% and you keep the photo — each generation costs us AI processing we can’t recover.

100% back in two cases: you were billed twice for the same download (same photo and same document — picking a second document is a separate purchase), or we cannot give you a file that opens at the document’s published pixel size. Email us within 14 days. Full details in the Terms.

How long do you keep my photo?

Your uploaded photo and the results are deleted automatically within 24 hours, and so is your history. Download and keep anything you have paid for. We never use your photo to train AI models. See the Privacy Policy.

Which documents are supported?

Singapore documents (passport, NRIC, PR/re-entry permit, student pass, work permit, employment pass, S Pass, driving licence), visa photos for 20+ countries, and passport photos for a range of foreign passports renewed in Singapore. Each one shows its exact specification and, where available, a link to the authority’s own guidelines.
